I met Dennis Sokownin six months ago. We had moved into an area where there was no Brazilian Jujitsu offered. Everyone kept telling me to go see Mr. Sokownin because he was the best. When I met him he shared his passion about why he teaches Taekwon-Do and self-defence, my daughter and I were both impressed and decided to take his class. Mr. Sokownin has helped me to control my thoughts, emotions, fears, and physical body and use them all together in harmony. Through his inspirations and teachings, I have found myself stretching and growing by leaps and bounds (and kicks and punches lol). He was exactly what I needed at this point in my life. He shares stories from his past and stories from current events that motivate us in class. I never believed that I could come as far as I did with learning mobility strength, accuracy, flexibility but Dennis believed and poured that belief into me at every class!
